"When Young People Worship" is a one night youth revival developed by our former Youth Pastor, current Bishop Designate, Wayne O. Rudd. His vision was to produce an encounter specifically geared towards the younger generation. Jeremiah 29:11 reads, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD,  Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  Although this is not the “theme” or scripture base, this scripture speaks volumes to the impression we want to leave with those in attendance.  This service was developed as a ministry operated by the youth and taught by the youth as well.

The format of this conference is Biblical and practical impartation, youth specific, and then the praise party!! J First, prayerfully and with Holyghost direction, we solicit local youth leaders/pastors in the Tri-State area to engage in a "platform" type service. Each person is asked to give a 7 minute homily on the  specified topic given from the Lord. We encourage the youth leaders/pastors to bring one: dancer, soloist, or group from their church to promote unity in support of their ministry. Next, we invite various choirs, ensembles, soloists, dancers, poets, gospel rappers, step-teams, etc. This conference teaches the youth that they CAN worship in their own unique way and still reach and feel God. It allows fun, freedom, and crowd participation. At Redeeming Grace, we believe in supporting the youth’s talents and gifts to honor God. The world is changing and we have to change with it to capture the youth of this generation. The message and “Messenger” stays the same but the methods must vary. In the generation we live in, we like to keep our youth busy by having bi-annual services such as these. These services promote healing, deliverance, and most of all salvation for the unbeliever. Through these services we've experienced God’s power activated through young souls, desperate to know God for who He is and not what He can do for them. The youth look forward to these services to be able to get their hands busy in ministry.

Our first WYPW brought  in over 500+ people and we had to turn some people away.  Our long term goal is to one day make "WYPW" a global traveling conference/ mobile crusade, incorporating churches all over the world to experience Gods love in a manner of an encounter, rather than a single touch. An encounter allows the youth to have a lasting love for God even after the service comes to a close. By incorporating other ministries and their greater works, this allows us to spread the love of Christ over a nation who needs to know exactly who He is. We believe that by us working together, it allows the Kingdom of God to continue to grow in a manner that none of us can imagine.  We do realize that this endeavor will take massive amounts of time, dedication, commitment, hard work and communication; however, we are ready to take the world by force!
